Can you use Microsoft USB Wireless Bluetooth USB dongle?

I have a Microsoft wireless mouse laptop and I was wondering if the adapter USB can be used as a Bluetooth adapter to other purposes? Example: Connecting to a Wiimote on a PC?

If the adapter Wireless Bluetooth adapter for wireless Bluetooth mouse, you can use it for other Bluetooth devices. If the wireless adapter is for a type of mouse non-Bluetooth wireless technology, it can not be used as a Bluetooth adapter.
